Marion, Illinois Homecoming Parade

My kids and I enjoyed the amazing October weather in Downtown Marion today watching their Homecoming parade. A parent from last year's HOCO mini-sessions reached out about photographing it and I loved the idea. My kids were on fall break this week and I thought it would be a good way to end the week. It was gorgeous out. There was quite a big crowd of spectators and the parade went well, apart from the end where a kid fell off of a float and dragged his leg and had to have medical attention. We hope he makes a full recovery!
