Love at last | Rend Lake and Downtown Sesser, Illinois
John and Lauren are an amazing couple. They were friends forever but their lives took different directions for several years, and after searching and heartbreak, God brought them back together and their love is so evident. I know Lauren through church and her desire to support small businesses that are newer rather than long established ones, was the magnet that brought her to me. So we set up the engagement session and planned it for a cold winter day in December, 2020.
We first went to the Rend Lake Spillway near Benton, Illinois where I swooned over their obvious photogenic connection. They were wonderful and we had a shivering blast! Then we drove off to downtown Sesser, Illinois to capture some fun shots in-front of the Opera House, and then ended the shoot outside a quaint coffee shop. Their wedding is set for May, and I can't wait!
