Glowing
If I could pick one word to describe this session...it would be "glowing". Katie, my dear friend, was simply glowing. The back light...glowing. Their joy...glowing.
When I found out my dear Katie was pregnant, I called "DIBS" on her maternity session. She is such a wonderful person, and I knew that her maternity session would add so much to my portfolio. I wanted a more woodland vibe for her session when she showed me the dress she picked out for pictures. It's everything I wanted. We actually did these photos at West Frankfort Park where I did a different prom mini session. I love it there, and it is in fact a very popular spot for photoshoots. It also has a lovely pond nearby. Not to mention how much POISON IVY THERE IS TOO!!!! I kid you not. When I was scouting this out before hand I was SO GLAD I noticed the poison ivy on the trees and in the taller weed areas where I really WANTED to take my clients. But MAN...ain't no way. So we stayed safely away from any ivy (you CAN see it climbing the trees in the background...fo sho...)
