A teen of many talents
I don't think I've met a teen with more musical talent than sweet Amelia. During our 2+ hour session she played no fewer than 4 instruments. And she plays them well! Not only that, but she is the Conductor for the High School band! And that's where we started our session - the football field. Amelia sported some dazzling white boots and her conductor's hat and jacket. We had some fun on the bleachers before heading onto the field where she pulled out her stand and we got some more shots. Then she played the trumpet for me.
Our next spot took us downtown. I wanted some more urban street vibes and her outfit choice meshed so well with my vision! I love the reflection ones with her next to the antique store with the Coke sign on the other side. Gave some neat retro vibes. All this was leading up to what I believe was the epic portion of our session.
What made this session so sweet was the lengths that her dad went to bring a full piano out to Twin Oaks in a trailer, and have a friend help him unload it so we could get some very unique outdoor piano shots. Amelia played the piano and I just clicked away in my happy place and was SO excited at what we captured. Some of my favorites are her lying on top of the piano. You'll see. It was exhilarating. Next, she pulled out her violin, we got some shots of her playing in the woods and ended the Twin Oaks location with her playing the French Horn.
As the sun went down, we hopped back in our cars and headed to the Civic Center and took some stage shots as this girl also does theatre! She wore her Homecoming dress and we had fun with it! She played the violin some more and then we headed into the dressing room where she touched up her lips. This session was just so much fun and I love the shots we got from it!
Enjoy!
